Hi My name is Robby, I'm from america and my life is just simply boring ha, I know what kinda guy I am, I love to snowboard and enjoy the beach at the same time and live in a tropical somewhat area, I came across the thought about New Zealand, first it started off with job searching for when I graduate college, which involves CAD (Draft Person) and possibly Arch/mech engineering. I know a move isn't easy to any country, lots of expense and such. I just wanted some help especially for the near future, I'm planning or taking consideration to move to new zeland by time i'm 28 or so and I'm curious on what i should do?
My ideal plan: I want to move to new Zealand and live there for maybe 1-3 years then move home or stay, I plan to start out in an apartment and working cad
Question- is 50k a year in NZD enough to live off of for one person? considering it's about 30k USD?
How much is the cost of living (what I can do, and such)

How much is an Average Apartment?
Is everything more expensive or cheaper?
Is it the same concept as spending in america?
How much to save up before the move?
How much would a move be from the mirgration to the settling?
